A person-centred approach - PRICE Training works with organisations to reduce risks associated with behaviours of concern, aggression and violence. We help organisations to develop clear strategies around both planned and unplanned interventions to ensure a safe workplace and better outcomes for service users.

This course looks at evidence-based models of restraint reduction, particularly the ‘six core strategies’ approach. It also explores the importance of quality assessment, planning and review measures designed to reduce the level of restraint and restrictive practices used.

Covers primary prevention, legal framework, anatomy and physiology, ligature release procedure, linkage to PRICE techniques and post incident processes.

Suitable for staff working in adults, children, and young people’s residential, day care, supported living, health, secure and mental health settings.

Price Training offer Physical Intervention courses to support workers who need to physically intervene. We have over 100 breakaways and holding techniques; from low arousal responses to 1, 2, 3 and 4 person holds that can quickly and safely restore stability.

This course is designed for all delegates, no matter the field that they are directly involved in, to give them the tools and knowledge to make a difference to a vulnerable person’s life. Participants will learn how to safeguard themselves in everyday work, as well as how to seek help and report any incidents identified.
